Not only are Clubs and Socs a brilliant way to meet people, make friends, experience new things and explore your passions, but they also offer an opportunity to build your skills and develop your CV. Joining a club or society gives you instant access to people who share your interests - meaning it’s one of the very best ways to find like-minded friends and make meaningful connections. You will also have the opportunity to join the committee for any of the Clubs and Societies you join. Being a committee member is an excellent opportunity to further your leadership skills, from chairing meetings to planning and delivering events, or even managing the society’s accounts, there is so much to do and learn as part of a committee! There is a dedicated team of Clubs and Socs staff, as well as the Society Life Committee (SLC) and Club Life Committee (CLC) that are there to support each club and society throughout all of their endeavours.
