Your SU Team 2020-2021
Hello there and welcome to all of our new DCU students!
Firstly I would like to take this opportunity to welcome each and every one of you to DCU. Congratulations on this huge milestone in your life, I wish you all the very best of luck!
My name is Fearghal Lynch and I am your Students' Union President. My job is to be the main spokesperson and representative of the Union, I look after the day to day running of the Union and much more. Learn more about what the SU is and what we do for you here. I’m ecstatic for the year ahead and I can assure you that the DCUSU Team of 2020/2021 has been working extremely hard all summer to guarantee you have the best University experience possible!
I’d like to introduce the four Vice-Presidents of your Students' Union and a few things we’ve been working on so far.
Lucien is your VP for Academic Affairs, and he's the man to speak to about any concerns related to your academic life, be that exams, lecturers, the library, or anything else. He's been working hard to make sure you're getting the best education possible this semester, and that you have as much information as possible before coming to college. Any other questions, shoot Lucien an email.
Chloe is your VP for Education and Placement, if you have any concerns about studying Teaching, Nursing or doing a course with INTRA placement, get in touch with her. Chloe has just finished her business degree so she can answer questions you may have about business courses or the business school.
Dean is your VP for Welfare & Equality! He handles all things to do with your Mental Health, Physical Health, and Sexual Health. He's also the main point of contact when it comes to Accommodation and Finance. Dean further looks after Equality Issues for minority students. Dean is a Psychology Graduate and commuted from Laytown for the duration of his degree.
Dylan is your VP for Engagement and Development and he is here to make your college experience outside the classroom go as smoothly as possible, and you further yourself in whatever way you can through your extracurricular activities.
Feel free to contact any of your DCUSU team with any questions or queries and make sure you follow us on Instagram and Twitter for the most up to date information.
