Week 1 of a new semester is a time to initiate good habits with your learning, and with so many of our classes taking place online for the moment, we recommend - if you can - tuning in and turning on -- with your camera on and your face visible, you and your classmates will find it easier to interact and engage with the lecturer, and each other. Try it and see!

  • Registration. Make sure you’ve registered for the year and paid your fees to ensure you’re able to access all elements of your coursework, and - for first years - to be able to receive your student ID card.

  • Library. The library is available for booking slots on Tues, Weds and Thurs, with expanded opening hours coming very soon. Information on using the library is available here, including how to get your library PIN for reserving books.

  • Tech. Microsoft Office 365 is available free for all DCU students. Check our Instagram page for information on the best laptops and tech advice for starting a new year in DCU.

  • Books. If you need textbooks for your course, check our DCU Book Fair group on Facebook and find them at a very affordable price second-hand.

  • Tech. Microsoft Office 365 is available free for all DCU students. I would advise saving your work on Google Drive in case of a device mishap. Google Drive unlimited storage is also available to every student with your DCU email. Check our Instagram page for information on the best laptops and tech advice for starting a new year in DCU.
